What is all this “stuff” about 2012? The Mayan Calendar, predictions from Nostradamus, the alignment of our planet in the solar system and various contemporary opinions on what December 21, 2012 means to the future of mankind are intriguing.
Scientists, religious leaders, theologians and historians have all jumped on the band wagon and to the best of their knowledge tried to answer the biggest questions of our time. “Will December 21st 2012 prove to be the most important day in modern history? Or is it going to be like the hype of 1999 where we worried what might happen and the next day found ourselves continuing our lives much in the same way we had before?
I’ll be the first to admit that I am in no way, shape, or form qualified to answer either question with certainty or scholarly wit, but I would like to contemplate this intriguing subject from a less complicated perspective.
After studying the significance of 2012, I’ve found that my higher self resonates with the philosophy that something significant will transpire in 2012. However, I do not envision it as the end of the world, but rather the beginning of a time when we’ll all have greater capacity to connect with our higher selves.
The energy of the planet will begin to swing in the direction of more connectedness and personal soul growth. Your free will allows you to choose whether or not you want to embrace this opportunity and at that moment you will select the path that resonates with your current philosophy of life, religion, and connectedness with your spirit.
Life is full of choices and the consequences, whether positive or negative enrich our lives. Learning from our mistakes allows for growth and on the flip side making good choices allows us to move more assuredly down the road of life.
So, the question on the forefront on my mind doesn’t really come down to one day on the calendar. Each day is just as important as the next, and the question I have to ask myself is; if I was to leave this earth tomorrow would I feel that I’d discovered my purpose and had done my best to honor it? Ask yourself those questions and answer them for yourself.
If yes is the answer then you’d know that the challenge of a “New Earth” in 2012 is just a stepping stone for continued spiritual growth. If you answered no then maybe more than ever the significance of 2012 is to arouse you to commence a spiritual awakening.
Turn within to find out what your soul longs for and ask the angels to assist you in finding the answers you need. Start with your guardian angels and ask them to assist you in connecting with your soul. Put a note under your pillow asking specifically what you would like to know, and “sleep on it”. Then open yourself up to receiving the answers you are searching for. Be patient with yourself and the process.
In my years of working with the angels they have always stressed “this moment”. The past is the past and the future is not promised, so enjoying and making the most of every moment is the way we are encouraged to live our lives. This moment is your time to delve in and discover your beauty, uniqueness and soul purpose. It’s time to awaken to all the possibilities for you and choose which one most resonates with your heart. Since your soul communicates directly with your heart, rest assured you will never be led astray. If you need assistance in listening to your heart, call upon Archangel Chamuel (the Archangel of Love) and ask him to assist you in loving yourself once more. Love is universal, loving yourself first is most important to being capable of loving others.
I do believe that December 21, 2012 will be significant, but so isn’t everyday leading up to it. Remember that when we walk a path we see and experience so much more than when we run. Let’s not look so far forward that we miss the joy and beauty of “right here and right now”. It’s all we have and all we really need.
If you start today, who knows how much progress you will have made by December 21st. Let’s use this date (12/21/2012) as a marker of how much we have accomplished, rather than a day in the distant future to worry about.
Hugs to you,
